As
a human instinct, man has always tried to invade with a strategy to
expand their kingdoms. This range back from the ancient times, with a
desire to take over others' rightful property by power. What have
changed with modern times is only the weapons used for the war. A war
is just another catastrophe for mankind and it has many destructive
after effects including loss of soldiers, countrymen and loss of
property. History has seen many civilizations wiping out as a result
of war and many civilizations booming up because of this. The war may
be due to an internal threat in the country or an attack from a
surrounding nation in an attempt to take control over the land. As a
result of war, there are many soldiers and countrymen who get
completely disabled or die fighting for the country. To compensate
for the loss, the country gives the war compensation and the
transitional aid.
As
has been seen in the history, during an emergency phase of the
country when the country is in war with another country, the affected
people in the country are given a transitional
aid
(in german Übergangsbeihilfe
)
in
the form of shelters and some amount of money as war compensation to
carry out their livelihood. During this period, it becomes the
responsibility of the government to assure the basic living things
for the affected people. There might be cases that during war many
soldiers get physically handicapped and may even die fighting for the
nation. This again becomes a responsibility of the government to take
care of their families. Different nations have different rules and
policies in this regard to give away the transitional aid to the
families of the soldiers and other affected people because of war.
This might be in the form of money or giving concessions at various
places of daily needs. There are different compensation
(in
german Abfindung
)
schemes
provided by the government of the country to cover different levels
of injuries for the family members of the affected. Although nothing
can compensate the loss of a person or any body part, this assures
that the families of the affected people continue their journey of
life without any interruption.
