Germany
offers you a wide range of education options with one of the world's
best and most extensive education system. The multifaceted education
system in the country caters well to the needs of a wide range of
population in the country. One cam have the education and training as
is suited to his abilities and needs. Although education cost is a
bit higher than other countries, various kinds of educational
supports are available to suit the needs of everybody. While several
young people may prefer to go for traditional classroom teaching,
others may like to go for vocational training courses that include on
the job training along with classroom teaching. This prepares them
well to enter the workforce with a specified skill or profession.
Different options may be chosen by anybody from a variety of
education options offered by the Education system in Germany.
The
teaching materials policy defines very well the educational standards
and different guidelines to be followed. Guidelines on teaching
standards, teachers' training, teachers' qualification standards
among other things are defined. This is a responsibility that is
shared by the Federal government and the Länder (meaning state in
German). Generally, in higher education the responsibility is shared
between the Länder and the Federal government. Teachers and
professors are generally civil servants with a life tenure and are
paid handsomely. The students entering the secondary education have
varied options to choose from. The variety of educational programs
increases at the secondary level. They can go for vocational
training, traditional classroom coaching or occupation specific
education. The teaching materials policy however makes the inclusion
of political lessons in the secondary education as a mandatory thing.
This helps making the citizens well aware and knowledgeable about
their country.
The
country also has a quota system that limits the access to higher
education to lesser number of people based on a strict selection
criteria. While nothing is perfect and there might be shortcomings,
the German educational system is one of the best in the world. The
man is rooted and would like to be as free as a bird. In the
seniorenarbeit
we have to bring both new forces into balance with various senioren
spiele.
